GwangJu Biennale 2014, BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE

As a non-artistic person, Biennale was the place where I forced myself to go for report that I need to submit to teacher but ever since I had worked with some artist group in Biennale in 2011 I started to try to understand the artworks and finally enjoy the exhibition.

Since I am staying in Seoul right now, I thought I would miss the Biennale this year but luckily I had family gathering in Gwangju 2 days before the biennale ended!
Though the location was quite far from my place and nobody could accompany me but I didn't mind! I ended up like myself going alone cos I was able to took more time to enjoy the artworks :):)

So.. here is the photos I took of artworks in Biennale. I believe it was quite difficult to understand the meaning of artworks or what they stand for without comments from decent but it was still very fun to see amazing artworks! :)

Among the artworks, I especially liked this one because lots of lizards on the wall reminded me of Singapore! haha

The artist of this artwork was the survivor of MunKyung massacre of the innocent people and this horrific memory became a trauma for him. The story related to this artwork broke my heart.

 I know it looks scary!
But I was amazed how all of the expressions are different and how they look so real!
