Singapore foods that I like the most

Since I came back to Singapore for holiday, I've had lots of foods with my friends. Some are what I had before when I was living in Singapore and  some are totally new to me!
Here I want to show you the foods that I like the most!

1. Mango Snow Ice

I remember the first time I ate this mango snow ice. That time my friend told me "I will bring you to the place where has the most delicious dessert in Singapore", and it was true.. I couldn't help but falling in love with this dessert! It has been almost 4 years since I first ate this mango snow ice but it is still my favorite dessert.

2. Cha Siew Bao
I think I ate this Cha Siew Bao for the first time at some chinese restaurant in china town.
It was on lunch manu and since I couldn't read manu which was written in chinese, my friend just ordered whatever he thought it would be good. The foods that my friend ordered were served and it was the first one I picked to eat because I like bread very much and it looked like a bread! haha
I asked my friend the name of this bread so many times but I couldn't memorise it, the chinese name was too difficult for me to memorise. So even though it was my favorite food, I didn't know the name of it so couldn't buy it for myself, it's sad story :(

However this time I am staying at Pamela's place, her grandma gave me this one again and I asked Pamela the name of it and finally I memorised it! YAY!

3. Char Kway Teow

When I first came to Singapore and whenever I went to food court or hawker centre it was very hard for me to choose what to eat because all I could see on the manu was noodle, noodle, noodle! Personally I don't like noodle, for me it tastes like flour, just no taste! so I barely eat pasta or ra-myeon(instant noodle). I eat noodle only when the sauce has strong flavor such as ra-bbokki(ra-myeon in ddokbokki) or 불닭볶음면 which is cooked with very very hot sauce.
But for some reason, Char Kway Teow became the only noodle that I like in Singapore, I like its chewy and sweet and salty flavor.

4. Bak Kut Teh

I have heard of Bak Kut Teh so many times when I lived in Singapore but I didn't have any chance to have it. So this time I decided to eat Bak Kut Teh by all means and I went straight to song fa bak kut teh with my friend. I was so surprised how the meat was tender, soft and delicious at the same time. loved it!
It tastes similar as korean food, 갈비탕 so I recommend you to try 갈비탕 someday!

5. Ice lemon tea

I know, it is a favorite beverage for everyone. I am also one of them so just wanted to put it as my favorite one :p

I have so many other foods that I like to eat in Singapore but these are my top favorite ones. I will try to write more about Singapore food that I've had so far.
Hope you enjoyed this posting and sorry for not fluent english!

bye!
